campaign Amsterdam Light Festival wins ADCN Lamp

The extraordinary campaign ‘After sunset, before sunrise’ of Amsterdam Light Festival 2017-2018, designed by creative agency VandeJong, was named a winner during the yearly award ceremony of ADCN at the Stopera in Amsterdam. The colourful campaign won a bronze Lamp in the ‘Brand’ category.

The campaign, that dressed the city in colour and light for the sixth edition of Amsterdam Light Festival, was praised by the jury: “Interesting concept, beautiful execution and daringly simple. Very gutsy to only use colour in the city, without communicating with text or messages. The identity of the festival becomes an installation in itself, without overdoing it.”

Since 1967, ADCN has celebrated the best and most creative ideas in communication during their yearly award ceremony by rewarding the passion, talent and hard work of the Dutch creative community. The Lamps symbolize the magic of creativity- the unique ability of humankind to start from scratch and think of solutions, surprise people, change culture, grow companies, take challenges and create value and impact. In total there were 221 projects nominated for a Lamp, across 35 different categories.
