Festival dates Edition #11
Edition #11 will take place from 1 December 2022 until 22 January 2023. Light is essential, especially during these dark times.
ILLUMINATION
Coming winter we will illuminate Amsterdam for the eleventh time in a row with high-quality light artworks. We strongly believe that (light)art connects people, which is perhaps more important than ever during these uncertain times.
PREPARATIONS
One festival cycle take about 15 (!) months in total. Therefore, the preparations have started. Plans and schedules are being made and the Call for Artworks is open: we're calling creatives from all over the world to submit their light artwork for the upcoming festival edition.
WINTER 2022-2023
Edition #11 will revolve around the theme ‘In Search of the Miraculous’. We will perform this search through light art. It creates room for us to think about the play of mysterious powers and appearances, both inside and outside of this world...
