The Open Call voor Amsterdam Light Festival Edition 16 is open! This year we're hosting the general Open Call and the Open Call X Amarte.
OPEN CALL
For Editie 16 we're looking for creatives from all over the world to present their work on the iconic canals of Amsterdam. While we’re primary looking for new works to present, if you think that something you've already made could fit, we'd like to hear from you too.

OPEN CALL X AMARTE
With support of the Amarte Fonds we invite makers to develop a new light artwork. We're specifically looking for concepts for walking visitors. This call is for makers based in the Netherlands who are new to the medium of light art.

WHAT IS DE OPEN CALL?
During the Open Call we invite creatives from all over the world to submit (an idea for) a light artwork. After the submission deadline, a careful selection process takes place. The selected artworks will be part of the festival route. Along the way, makers receive technical and financial support of the festival.
Do you have little experience, but an illuminating idea? Share it with us! Do you have an existing light artwork that deserves an international stage? Share it with us! We encourage creatives from various backgrounds, gender identities and ethnicities to participate.
