Did you know that the artworks travel all over the world after the festival? Over the years we have built up a vast collection of light art. From London and Athens to Riyadh, after Amsterdam the artwoks illuminate cities around the world.
Light Art Collection
Our collection is managed by Light Art Collection, a subsidiary of the Amsterdam Light Festival Foundation. The team at Light Art Collection provides the artworks and artists with international exhibition possibilities. Every artwork tells a different story in every place, but, no matter where they go, they light up the dark.
After the festival, Light Art Collection reconditions the artworks, prepares them for their journey and ensures good storage and documentation. They train and educate technicians to rebuild and (re)program the works. Our artworks are thus not tucked away in some storage room after the festival, but travel all around the world!
