Looking for Child Ambassadors!
Would you like to help us come up with creative lessons and look for a new artist? Then this is your moment!
Every year, Amsterdam Light Festival works together with primary school children from all over Amsterdam. Together with an artist they are working on a work of art that will be on display during the festival in the city center. Children also take creative lessons about light art and important themes in the city. As a festival, we select great artists and come up with creative lessons that we take to schools.
Working together with you
As a festival, we would like to collaborate more with children. We think it is important to involve children in things that happen in their education and in their city. That is why we are looking for Amsterdam Light Festival Child Ambassadors. As a Child Ambassador you help select an artist with whom children will create a work of art. You also give us advice about what art you like and what kind of creative lessons you like. Finally, during the festival you tell older people about the festival and the art. So that is quite important and cool!
So, do you like (light) art and creativity? Do you enjoy being involved in a big festival in the city in winter? Would you like to advise us on what kind of art and culture lessons you like? Then we would like to meet you! Who knows, you might become one of the new Child Ambassadors of Amsterdam Light Festival.
- We would like to hear from primary school students from all over Amsterdam
- Between 9 and 11 years old
- Who would like to help us at least on Wednesday, November 20 after school and/or Monday, January 13 at the end of the afternoon. Additional information about these days will follow.
