Groupe LAPS

The French collective Groupe LAPS was founded in 2009 by 6 artists and designers. Groupe LAPS creates films, multimedia and light installations, and participates regularly in educational programmes. Light, time and fiction are important components of the artists’ narrative work, and the group prefers to work in public spaces in the city, thereby integrating the urban environment in their art. Groupe LAPS participates in light festivals around the world; their installation Spider Circus was exhibited at the famous Fête des Lumières in Lyon in 2017.
