Katie Urban
Katie Urban (US, 1977) is a video and installation artist. She obtained her degree in visual art at Bowdoin College in Maine and currently lives and works in New York. Urban searches for the otherworldly in everyday situations, settings or objects. In her work, the natural world, animals and the body become expressions of intangible emotions and experiences, influenced by her interests in mythology and psychology.
