Krijn de Koning

In his work, visual artist Krijn de Koning (NL, 1963) focuses on the question of how we experience space. De Koning creates location-specific sculptures with colors and shapes that refer to the surrounding environment. The artist studied at ‘De Ateliers 63’ in Haarlem and at ‘Institut des Hautes Etudes et Arts Plastiques’ in Paris. His work is exhibited all around the world and is included in both private and public collections, including the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. Never before had De koning made a work of art with light as a medium.
