Kumquat Lab

Brothers Tom and Sébastien Guillen (FR, 1992 and 1997) founded the studio Kumquat Lab in Edinburgh in 2020. Inspired by the emotional impact of light, they craft evocative light art for public spaces, aiming to bring people together and create new collective memories. Drawing from a background in Art and Computing, their work embraces a minimalist aesthetic that focuses on simplicity and elegance, using light as the primary medium to create stunning visual effects.
