FESTIVAL DATES
Edition 13 takes place from Thursday 28 November 2024 until Sunday 19 January 2025. On 31 December the festival is closed.
LIGHTS ON
From Sunday to Tuesday, the lights are on from 5.00 to 10.00 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday from 5.00 to 11.00 p.m. There are two exceptions:
- During the Christmas holidays (21 December till 5 January) the lights are on daily from 5.00 to 11.00 p.m.
- On Tuesday 31 December the lights are off.
CRUISE & WALK TIMES
Cruises take 75 minutes on average. They depart every half our, between 5.45 and 9.30 p.m. You can find the exact times in our ticket shop.
The total walking route is around 6.5 kilometers. It can be enjoyed in its entirety or in shorter sections. You can walk anytime the lights are on with the festival app. The Foodwalk takes place on selected days, it can be started between 5.00 and 7.00 p.m. Takeway is until 9.30 p.m.
INFORMATION POINTS
Information point Stoperaplein: open Thursday to Sunday from 4.30 to 9.00 p.m., open daily during the Christmas Break (21 December t/m 5 January). Closed on 31 December.
Information point Light Garden: open Thursday to Sunday from 4.30 to 9.00 p.m., open daily during the Christmas Break (21 December t/m 5 January). Closed on 31 December.
LIGHT GARDEN
The Light Garden is the heart of the festival, located in the Hoftuin. Opened daily from 4.30 to 10.00 p.m. (closed on 31 December)
In this special courtyard you can find two light artworks, an information point and takeaway options (these are opened Thursday to Sunday from 4.30 to 10.00 p.m., daily during the Christmas Break).
