FESTIVAL DATES
Edition 14 takes place from Thursday 27 November 2025 until Sunday 18 January 2026.
LIGHTS ON
From 27 November until 4 January the lights will go on at 4.30 p.m. From Wednesday to Saturday they're on until 11 p.m., from Sunday to Tuesday until 10 p.m.
From 5 January until 18 January, the lights will go on at 5 p.m. From Wednesday to Saturday they're on until 11 p.m., from Sunday to Tuesday until 10 p.m.
There are two exceptions:
During the Christmas holidays (20 Dec til 4 Jan) the lights are on daily until 11 p.m. On New Year's Eve (31 December) the lights go out at 9 p.m.
The artwork Knotted in the Wereldmuseum can be visited for free on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 until 10 p.m.
CRUISE & WALK TIMES
Cruises take 75 minutes on average. Most cruises depart every 30 minutes, between 5.45 and 9.30 p.m. You can find the exact times in our ticket shop.
The total walking route is around 6.5 kilometers. It can be enjoyed in its entirety or in shorter sections. You can walk anytime the lights are on with the festival app.

Opened from Thursday until Sunday, from 4.30 pm til 9 pm and daily during the Christmas holidays (20 December until 4 January). Closed on Christmas (25 December) and New Year's Eve (31 December).
