15 years of light art in Amsterdam
Upcoming edition marks the fifteenth birthday of our festival. For this occasion, we've asked local and international artists what they want to present to the residents and visitors of our city. Next to unqiue artworks and a brand new route, we're working on free events and side programming along the route. The foundation
Amsterdam Light Festival is organised by an independent non-profit foundation, consisting of a small team of enthusiastic employees. We receive minimal government and municipal funding, so we primarily rely on our own resources. The light art is freely accessible for everyone; if you want to know more, you can purchase tickets for a walk or cruise experience. This is the only way we can keep organising our festival, especially amid rising costs. Of course, we are not forgetting our trusted partners who make every festival edition possible.
