Martin Ersted

Martin Ersted (DK, 1977) is a creative jack-of-all-trades: he has been artistic director at various cultural organizations, worked in TV and radio and is active as a light artist. Ersted often uses two custom built laser projectors, Moonmachine I & II, to create large scale (sometimes interactive) installations. Among these is an artwork on climate change in Copenhagen, and a piece about evolution projected on Mt. Bjolfur in Iceland. Ersted is part of Båll & Brand ("fire & fury"), an artists' collective that creates artworks and performances that revolve around fire and light.
