Meditation on the threshold

Meditation on the threshold functions as the element of spiritual connection. This is represented by the projection in the flow of the water drops of the fountain, in which the light becomes more ethereal. Situated in front of the largest library in Amsterdam, the fountain is fluid while remaining the same shape, creating a meditative and magical encounter at the same time. Floating above Oosterdok, it has an almost dreamlike quality. Water is related to initiation rites in many cultures, and is also the door to other worlds, hence the idea of threshold.
