HEART/EARTH - by Tom Biddulph & Barbara Ryan
Written in mega-sized letters, a light sentence is placed behind the windows of the "floating" bridge of the University of Amsterdam. It is the artwork HEART/EARTH. With their light text - which is somewhat reminiscent of old neon signs - the artists want to make you think about your personal relationship with our earth, and call on you to treat it with care.
EDITION #9
This year is different from other years: we will not organize a walking route, no boat tours and no festival. Thanks to our partners, we will illuminate the city. We will place seven works of art spread over four different districts in Amsterdam, to enlighten the city and its citizens.
