Winner public choice award 2018 - 2019
The special installation 'Light A Wish' by the Israeli artists' collective OGE Group is the winner of the very first Amsterdam Light Festival Public Choice Award.
Every edition, we are keen to know what the visitors' festival favourites are. For that reason, we decided to create the Public Choice Award. During the festival, visitors could cast their votes.
'Light a Wish' received more than 20% of the votes. Everyone knows the game where you can make a wish before blowing the fluff from a dandelion into the air. OGE Group’s 'Light a Wish' visualises the moment the seeds disperse in the air, taking your wish with them into the world.
