Experience the open-air exhibition "DISRUPT!" from the Amsterdam waters and visit one of the many light art activities during the eighth edition of Amsterdam Light Festival! From 28 November 2019 to 19 January 2020 Amsterdam will again be the stage for international light art.
DISRUPT! 20 artworks & 5 city stories
In our new exhibtion DISRUPT! artists from around the world use light to get your attention and shake up Amsterdam. Some artist transform the excisting architecture while others alarm us about the effects humans have on nature and the climate. They use light in a unique way to be disruptive and give us new impulses. In five city stories we look at disruption in the city.

Programming
In addition to the exhibition, there is much on offer during the festival. Have you ever experienced ARTIS in the dark? During The Sleepwalk you'll discover the habits the animals have in the dark. You can also learn about the origin of light and even make your own artwork (for kids).

Without these partners the festival would not be what it is today.
