Do I need a ticket to walk the route?

It is not mandatory to purchase tickets to see the artworks, however, with our walking experiences you will get access to an audio guide and all information necessary. There will be no information at the artworks. Reason for this is that, as a cultural foundation, we cannot exist without the contribution of our visitors.

Do I need to book a date and time slot for the walk?

With the festival app you can walk anytime the lights are on. Check out the opening hours here.

The Foodwalks can only be done on selected days, more info will follow soon.

How long is the route?

The walking route is approximately 6.5 kilometers in total. This takes about 1.5-3 hours, depending on your speed.

What is the route?

The artworks are placed along the canals of Amsterdam. You can find the exact route and more information in our app, which can be found in the Google Play or Apple Store soon. By purchasing the route, you support the art and the foundation tremendously.

Are there toilets on the route?

We are unable to facilitate this ourselves. However, you can check out this page on the website of the City of Amsterdam for an overview of public toilets.
